Crystal Authenticity and Sourcing

Choosing a crystal starts with understanding the individual listing. This guide explains how to read the material details at From Paradise, what natural variation means, and what to check before ordering.

Natural stones vary

No two natural stones are exactly alike. Color, clarity, pattern, inclusions, shape, and size can vary between pieces. Our FAQ explains that photographs may show the variations you may receive and the quality of current stock. Check the individual listing rather than assuming that every piece pictured is included or that you will receive a particular photographed piece.

Material names, treatments, and enhancements

Read the material details in each product description, including any treatment wording. For example, our Green Flower Agate Crystal Bracelet description identifies its material as “semi-precious, dyed.” That disclosure applies to that listing; it is not a statement about every agate or every bracelet.

A material name or the word “natural” alone should not be treated as confirmation that a stone is untreated. If a listing does not answer your question about dyeing, heating, coating, or another enhancement, ask about the specific item before purchasing. Do not assume that an unmentioned treatment has been ruled out.

Sourcing and provenance

For item-specific provenance, look for an explicit origin statement in the product description. General information about where a mineral occurs or was discovered is not the same as documented provenance for the piece offered for sale.

If you want to know a particular piece’s country of origin, mine, or supplier history, ask what information is available for that item before ordering. This guide does not establish item-specific mine origins, supply-chain traceability, ethical certification, independent laboratory testing, or included authenticity certificates. Do not assume those details or documents are included unless they are explicitly confirmed for the item.

Check exactly what is included

Our FAQ states that each displayed price is for one item unless the listing specifies otherwise. Review the complete description and your selected option for the quantity, form, dimensions, weight, bracelet or necklace size, and any stated materials. Several listings include a “You will receive one (1)” statement; use the wording for the product you are ordering.

Before checking out, confirm whether the photographs show the exact piece or examples of possible variations, which size or option you selected, and whether any pictured accessories or documentation are expressly included. If anything is unclear, ask about the product by name and specify the option you are considering.
